Nigerians no wan take am. It had nothing to do with the vaccines not being enough. The conspiracy theories about the vaccine is the reason people are refusing to take it. 2 Likes |

IMASTEX:Its for the people to care for themselves. It is not government that will fall ill or die from Koro. A consultant friend in luth told me the other day that their covid treatment facility is shut down. As in they are not opened to treat anyone. Inshort fgn no de treat anyone again, all man for himself. Person sick, he survives or he dies. Guy better go take your vaccine cause we are on our own. |

tctrills:you must not know anything if you think anyone gets anything for free. Most of those vaccines are paid for by the loans taken from world bank and other world monetary institutions and guess what? No one ever pays back those monies. Check how much USA and other first world countries owe if you think this is a joke. So basically the whole world pays for these vaccines hence distribution should be equitable. But that's no the case 1 Like |

OLDESTWARRIBOY:why should they take malaria seriously when there is no financial incentive? Pharma companies aren't charity organisation. If countries that suffer from a disease are too lazy to invest in it health care/drug discovery , why should other countries do it for us, expecially for disease that do not affect them? |

This is why you should be careful taking this shots. Nothing stop the donors or even your government sending expired repackaged vaccines and your government giving it to you. |

While the west inflict sorrow on Africa their equally devilish advocate here also abuse the Govt for being unfairly treated. Re: One Million COVID Vaccines Wasted In Nigeria In November - Reuters by Infomaz(m): 2:03pm On Dec 08, 2021 |
The government that wants to increase hardship and suffering by selling fuel at N300 cares so much for us that taking the vaccine is compulsory. Civil servants who refuses to take the jab will be sacked and denied their freedom. The hullabaloo about the vaccine is highly suspicious and benefits the big pharmaceutical firms. Looks more and more like a multi-billion dollar scam. The number of dose required appears indeterminate. One dose, two, quarterly booster dose A friend with her husband who tested positive to the virus, treated themselves with a mash of garlic, ginger, lemon, vitamin c and a generous doze of the early morning sun. They recovered fully within a week. So why are the authorities not promoting these natural remedies? 1 Like 1 Share |

Romanoff:Conspiracy theories is just one out of many factors impeding people from getting it. Imagine how will the people in the areas ravaged by Boko Haram, ISWAP and bandits reason vaccines when there's no guarantee of them surviving to the evening? How will someone who's struggling on getting something to feed on reason vaccines when he's not sure if hunger will allow him see the next day. Among many other issues. Believe it or not, it's people living well and expects to live long are careful enough to reason vaccines. Street is not smiling in Nigeria. I rise 3 Likes |

Re: One Million COVID Vaccines Wasted In Nigeria In November - Reuters by IMASTEX: 3:09pm On Dec 08, 2021 |
nedekid:Exactly my point, the people have been surviving & living as a government for themselves. They consider Koro a lesser issue compare to malaria, fever, cholera, infant mortality, malnutrition, hunger, insecurities, etc that have been reducing the population daily. By the way, most vaccines require ice cold temperature to keep them valid. Can one be so sure about the dispatch channel down to storage & perhaps point of use giving Nigeria for what they are. Secondly, if not for travel ban highly feared by the govt and maybe loan restrictions they won't border because they don't care about the people. Government should loot the vaccine just as they will do if it was food items or money. Moreover, not all western countries acknowledge Nigeria's vaccination. Nigeria dey somehow abeg! 3 Likes |
