OBJ would have ban BA flights by now join sef. Nobody try dare him during his time. Emirates will have to send their sheikh owners to beg him. OBJ might even ground their flight if care isn't taken

The only Nigeria president with balls internationally since independence.

Despite being the third-largest among of visitors to Dubai, Nigeria is actually the highest spender in Dubai. One of their officials revealed this when they were planning for their Expo 2020. They put a lot of efforts to make Nigerians come to Dubai. The largest amount of visitors come from China and Russian, but the official said the Chinese are stingy and manage while the Russians are not so buoyant. The woman said one Naija Alhaji go charter plane bring him four wives and 18 children. The money they will spend fr one week holiday is more than what 50 chinese will spend.

Most Nigerian intl conferences and training are done in Dubai because it is an happening place, easy visa and cheap flight.

Las Las, na them go loose.

Na Dubai go beg Las las. How many of their people dey come to Nigeria?

The amount Dubai are generating alone on visa applied by Nigerians is far far than UAE people applying for Nigeria visa.

And all those Nigerians that travel there go with reasonable money to spend which VAT will be included.

And the good thing is, those who have plans of travelling to Dubai must have money, If Dubai is no longer available, they will go somewhere else

Nigerians are not the only ones visiting Dubai, a lot of people all over the world visit the state.

So how can the ban affect them negatively

Reciprocity is good. If a Nigerian airline is only allowed to fly to UAE once a week, then Emirates should also be allowed to land in Nigeria once a week too. Its time Nigerian leaders grow balls and stand up to the bullying. In fact, any country that does not allow Air Peace land in their country should also no be allowed to land in Nigeria. Just imagine.

Good response, high time these fellas respect our national economies. Our naira improves in values if we can hold up such stances on all our national economies within and external. Up Nigeria! Up Air Peace.

MrMaestro:
The Nigerian government has responded to the UAEs ban on multiple flights to the UAE from Nigeria’s Air Peace. As a result, the government has also rescinded the previous approval of 21 flights to Nigeria weekly (Abuja and Lagos), down to once per week. Likely due to the fact that Air Peace has been a beacon for Nigeria and Nigerian business, especially after the xenophobic issues in South Africa. Wonderful development. Nigeria protecting those that also are protecting Nigerians. Let this be a lesson that when we stand together we can be a global force to be reckoned with.

The bolded is ridiculous, and a testament to the level of egotism of members of the present government and their adherents

Let me educate a lot of people who are talking nonsense especially those that hate Nigeria.

NCAA is actually fighting Emirates because of Air Peace and I hope my Igbo brothers can appreciate the Nigerian government for supporting Air Peace.

UAE restricted Air Peace to Sharjah instead of allowing Air Peace to land in Dubai and UAE also limited Air Peace to only one flight per week. Hence, Nigerian government got upset and restricted Emirates to one flight too.

Emirates in return is upset and has decided to pull out of Nigeria.

This is a case of Government fighting for it's Citizen.

Igbo people stop criticizing government unnecessarily

Impressive move by the Nigerian government!
For those ignorantly saying that Nigeria will lose or it's a bad decision, receive sense!

UAE will lose far more than Nigeria because we are the ones experiencing capital flight going to their country! If there is no flight going there, they will lose so much revenue while we will lose very little, if at all any.

I support Buhari and the minister of aviation on this!
