They said COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT, not plagiarism.

Go school, some of una refuse. Read ma, una refuse. If you had taken a moment to read, you'd understand the action was simply taken because he used Beyonce's song as a background soundtrack on a video he made commemorating Women's Day. It is not a big deal.

He made the post on MARCH 8 and it was removed YESTERDAY, yet some folks still noticed!! Omo, witchcraft is real!!

By the way, we all do this EVERYDAY on social media. How many videos, pictures, or songs do we contact their owners before using? Probably none!

Sorry O, just slight correction

The article stated "It is unclear when it was taken down...."

But you assume it was noticed Yesterday?

You sef read to understand not to assume.

Twitter has the right to do what it has to do according to its terms and conditions.

However, what will be wrong is for all commentators over this to dwell on ignorance! This tweet in question was posted in March, 2021, while it was two months later Nigeria banned Twitter!

So, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a very good and patriotic man is NOT using any VPN to tweet as some people, the ignoramuses and enemies of Nigeria are insinuating!

He posted his tweet in good faith to celebrate women generally, and everyone has used soundtracks all over the world for good purposes. If someone, an unpatriotic Nigerian reported his post and Twitter now pulled it down, fine! Life continues.

Let's be well guided. Osinbajo is a man who believes in the general welfare of Nigerians, stop vilifying him for nothing!

I don't think the dingbats that dominate the general population of people on this Nairaland care. You're literally talking to a wall. A very large wall.
Thank goodness we have some level headed people still trying.

"Plagiarism" and "copyright infringement" are synonymous with each other. The only ignorant person here is you.

WAEC - Plagiarism and Copyright infringement, are they the same with the same definition and meaning?

OneManLegion - They synonymous with each other

WAEC - Synonymous was not the question

WAEC - Again, Plagiarism and Copyright infringement, are they the same with the same definition and meaning?

OneManLegion - They synonymous with each other.

WAEC Result - FAIL/F9. Go back to elementary school to learn words and meaning.

Too many olodo and WAEC eject people on NL.

The sad part is that they even care less to sound ignorant and grossly uneducated.

The greatest threat to Nigeria are ignorant and uneducated Nigerian youths.
Very embarassing

We all know Osinbajo meant well. A media aide(s) obviously made that video. His media aides/team should also be held accountable, since they are expected to know better. A good media aide wouldn't create such video with copyright infringement and present it to his boss, without first clearing such video of intending lawsuits. The VP will probably fire or sanction the media team responsible for such video.
I trust Osinbajo to handle this case with maturity. He is not a tout like Buhari. Even Beyoncé will be so impressed with how osinbajo will handle it that she might not even file a lawsuit, but simply appreciate that her music was used in commemoration of Women's day.

Pls,are you okay?

Osinbajo is not on NL.
Stop twerking and ass licking

By the way, whatever Osinbajo aides does in his name is done by Osinbajo
