If you board flight from one destination, with arrangement to be taken to Nigeria and if for any reason, the flight can't get you to your destination, it is expected that they make alternative arrangements to take you to your destination, in the absence of that, the airline should give financial compensation sufficient enough to take you to your destination. However, where an airline failed to do either of the above, you have right to complain at the appropriate authority BUT in a manner that will not constitute public nuisance.

A video shared online showed the moment some security officers in Togo assault Nigerians traveling via an airport in the country.

According to reports which are yet to be confirmed, a group of Nigerians coming from the US(United States) with Ethiopian Airlines had a connecting flight that would take them through Eyadema Airport,  Togo on Saturday, December 18 to Nigeria. However, after getting confirmed flights from the USA, the airline officers allegedly told them the plane was full and could not take them to Nigeria. This got them angry and an argument arose which later resulted in a scuffle between them and the security agents.

The video showed some Togolese security agents holding a man and a woman on the floor in an attempt to arrest them.

At the time of this report, the appropriate authorities are yet to comment on the viral video.

under no circumstances must the plane be fully booked without them on a stop over, so they had every right to be angry

i am sure those passengers must have given the security men some excuse to treat them like that , i have been to togo so many times and they always like to be see as law abiding people , they respect their police officers . what is shown in this clips is only the reaction of the police officers , before we can condemn these actions we should see how the victims or nigerans were behaving before the officers decided to treat them in this manner
