flokii:the funniest thing is that if you read history well Asians were once at the mercy of white people study world war2 well Japan was in abject poverty after world war 2 but with sense , determination and what ever makes a great nation they were able to pull through Nobody will like you if you don't love yourself, I think we Africans need to hear this truth No matter how much or less the resources are in a country only a determined one can pull through Take a look at Dubai and isreal these are countries with dessert lands yet they have one of the best economies 1 Like |

Afamsi: Baba you said it all... It's what people don't understand, they think it's all about war war war... Russia had the opportunity to be more than china, but they chose to kill off their intellectuals in their country because of perceived resistance against communism. Now all they think off day and night is war war war war... China is now following that path. It's the reason why countries like japan will defend themselves against nation's that will be aggressive towards them. Countries like Japan, sweden and other scandinavian nation's should to me is the model nation's should follow, not china. USA have a chronic flaw because of capitalism but you see that democratic component, if followed to the core is very very beautiful. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Amazing Innovation, highly needed To those criticising Africa left, right, center, what have you and your family innovated for Africa or are you not part of the useless Africans too? just appreciate the post and move on, no need to vent your frustration on here. |

It is not the first "dual -mode vehicle". I have seen dual mode service trucks running on train tracks when they are doing track maintenance. 1 Like

flokii:In actual fact our problem is leadership. A A boy recently constructed Escavator with sticks. Another constructed a car. Another aeroplane. As far back as 80s prof. Awojobi constructed a vehicle with head on both sides that you dont need to turn in holdup. Just come to the back and Drive off. Africans has proved themselves as genius but no encouragement |

Sometimes I wonder if the type of heads oyinbo people have is the same as African's. While oyinbos are fast advancing in technology to solve the simplest of thier problems. Africans most especially Nigeria are still deeply rooted in Religion, tribalism and nepotism. I always maintain all our religious and political leaders should be arrested and locked up in jail for life. Religious leaders will destroy our mentality with brainwashing messages, making us look to sky for solutions to problems while they embezzle tithe, offering and other money meant for charity. On the other hand, our political leaders are equally terrible. As long as religions and other aforementioned problems still occupy the majority of the space in our nation. I tell you, 1,000,000 years to come. Nigeria will never move an inch forward. Let's ban religion and take our destiny in our hands. Enough of lies from pastors. They are robbers! |

oyejideogunjumo: That name you mentioned is a household name in Unilag's engineering faculty, mech. engr. department to be precise. I agree Africans have the brain but the leadership is extremely poor. It's evident from the giant strides our people make outside, especially in european countries. 1 Like |
