Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue has encouraged the people of Benue and Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari.

The governor also urged Nigerians not to lose hope in the country but to continue to work together to build an indivisible country.

This was contained in his Christmas goodwill message to Benue citizens as well as Nigerians issued in Makurdi on Friday by the governor’s aide, Mr. Nathaniel Ikyur.

He said that it was an opportunity for all Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic, political or religious affiliation to come together and work consciously to dislodge the terrorist forces destabilising the country.

Ortom regretted the pain the terror groups had wrecked on the political, economic and social life of Nigerians.

“We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us celebrate as one big Nigerian family with love and care for one another.

“Let us avoid divisive tendencies where religion, ethnicity and political differences have eaten deep into our lives.

“We must not allow this criminality by terrorists and their sponsors to continue and destroy our nation.

“Let’s come together to end it now for the benefit of our children and future generations,” he said.

He said that the yearly commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ signified the love God had for mankind.

He further said that the season had presented a unique time to share love genuinely irrespective of political or religious differences.

He encouraged Christians to pray for peace, harmony, urging them to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari, state governors, members of the National Assembly as well as ministers, and all those in positions of authority for the peace of the country.

He also admonished Benue people to be security conscious and to be at alert during and after the festivities.

“Given the recent security alert raised by security agencies, Benue people should be conscious of their environment now.

“Let them report suspicious movements of people to the security agencies so that together, we can fish out the bad eggs amongst us,” he said.

Buhari and Fulani are Ortom’s priority projects. He doesn’t talk about anything other than them. No infrastructural projects, no health care program, no policy to boost the economy of the state. Just Buhari and Fulani for 8 years.

Sarcastic.. grin

Buhari has only one enemy in Nigeria and we all know him .His name is Gov ortom

The governor of Taraba Darius ishaku also took up the task of harshly calling Buhari to order . but seems he was prevailed upon to soft pedal and leave the job to ortom

ortom was the only living thing 'at a time ' in this Nigeria , who had the Ballz to challenge the Fulani .and not just Nigeria FULANI, But FULANI worldwide.

They the Fulani would converge in Bamako to issue a declaring and place a "bring him alive or dead " fatwa on ORTOMS HEAD..

BUT THAT ONLY MADE HIM MORE ERRATIC AND OUTSPOKEN.
THEN HE WAS ALMOST KILLED IN HIS FARM .

I think God of Pastor Adeboye saved him that day, because the Fulani had overpowered his security details and were shooting at him directly and chasing him. Only God knows how he escaped

He brought pains to Nigerians in 1984 to the extent that Nigerians couldn't afford ordinary food. In 2015 he made a return and brought a greater pain .

My prayer this day is that God should remove him via whatever means.

Wasting of prayer point, With Buhari's wickedness Heaven will shot any requests on his behalf...

Earth are tired of Him.
Heaven should let him remain on earth to suffer all the agony Nigerians went through, under his watch...

Re: Christmas: Ortom Urges Nigerians To Pray For President Buhari by ceaser: 6:20am On Dec 25, 2021
Okay.

Im sure Nigerians "are praying for him" in their millions in the light of the hardship they are currently going thru.

Three years ago, Nigerians being driven by the spirit of "patriotism" prayed for him to come back alive from the treatment he went for in UK. He was evidently gravely ill at that time. Nigerians prayed and fasted. And I guess God who initially had different plans, having seen ahead of us, eventually decided to heed our supplications against his own master plan.

"Come let's give these people what they want, even though they have no idea of why they shouldn't supplicate for him", He must have said. And so he came back better and stronger after 6 months sojourn in a UK hospital.

Well, it was a grave mistake and as infallible humans that can't see beyond our noses, Nigerians later realize their mistake. They should have prayed that God's will (ridding us of the pestilence of a president) be done, instead of praying that he should get well.

So Ortom, I am very sure Nigerians are "praying" earnestly for Buhari right now. In the market places, in their places of work, while on the kerosene queue, while foraging for woods to cook, while shopping for charcoal, while buying cooking gas, while in the captivity of abductors; Nigerians are "praying" fervently for Buhari.
