Masekela is yet to be surpassed are u for real!! Even Wizkid don pass Masekela and he his just at the peak of his career and mind you Masekela made most of his hit songs in the US after getting a scholarship in a musical school. His greatest song grazing in the grass and bring him back home were all recorded in the US. He his a legend no doubt but it mostly because of his American pop influence and the part he played in South Africans struggle in the Apartheid. His music was a symbol of hope but saying none as passed him musically is unacceptable where do u put Wizkid with is records, angelina kidjo with her records and i can tell u music is all about records. Also important to know that Masakela was nominated for three Grammy Award but never won any, so his record as a legend is because of his role in the aparthy no come start they talk rubbish for here
