Working in a village, Delta state during this Christmas period and the festive period was just boring. Anyway things got better today as one of the locals working with us killed an antelope. Our new year came quite early.

My sister, you will not understand what hunger looks like until you work in the bush/forest of Niger Delta. Even the fish that use to be in abundance is now very expensive.

Doubt if the coming generation will meet any animal in Nigeria. Everything has been eaten.

Why you see most Nigerians have not even seen a big snake, elephant, porcupine and the likes.

They hunt them down young.

That thing should be around 4-5x bigger than a goat. Recall when I was a little boy, my dad bought a lap of it and after smoking it, my mum made vegetable soup with it lol.
