You talk so childishly. Politically, SE has the brightest chance even running against SW.
Except APC choose Osibanjo, that is where SE will sweat to win. But against Tinubu, it's a walk in the pack.

But why is Ohaneze kneeling down and begging Tinubu not to run? What do you know that Ohaneze is not aware if?

Exaggeration. Ohaneze member wrote Tinubu on personal capacity, not as Ohaneze executive.
Tinubu is at liberty to contest, but he won't succeed because the odds are stacked against him. But his insistence of contesting is why NE and NC are clamoring too.
If as APC has said the ticket goes to South and SW say, fine, SE take it but see our expectations. Yahaya Bello will go and take sit.
Also Atiku and co will be under immense pressure, because PDP will be boxed into corner. With this, APC has gotten small SE and big SW in the whole of South, while waiting for PDP.
If PDP zone to SE, PDP may have gotten part of big SE and part of big SS and small SW.
Now the fight will shift to north.
If northern APC is sincere with the party, they will deliver, with more states with high voting strength.
So in all these, APC will still win with Igbo man.
This is straight forward.
The north knows this.
Tinubu and co knows this
Every politician with thinking cap knows this.
But it's the masses that are seeing things from wrong perspective

oga we are saying the same thing, micro zoning to a particular tribe is the same thing as micro zoning to a particular region. It was not micro zoned to the entire north but only to a particular tribe in the north isn't? Why are the yurobas calling for zoning to the entire south when is obvious that they are not interested in igbo candidacy? igbos who are among the three major tribe that formed the country called Nigeria ,have not been given opportunity to produce the president ? Is like justice equity and fairness mean a different thing to you guy's?

Are Ibos interested in Yoruba presidency? Why should Yoruba be interested in ibo president? Because they don't have capable people or what?

Why can't Atiku as PDP candidate easily defeat APC SE presidential candidate since North will always vote north especially since SW will not be enthusiastic about APC if it should lose the ticket? You think your mantra of North will always vote north does not apply if any major party fields a SE person against a northern candidate?
Your analysis is crass, pedestrian and childish in my opinion.

Most SW candidates are prepared to square against any strong northern candidate from PDP like Atiku or Tambuwal while most of you SE keyboard analysts are scared of your candidate facing even ordinary Yahya Bello.
Why should SW drop it's presidential ambition for weak candidates that have proven for 60 years not to be dependable allies?
Who will stop Atiku from getting PDP ticket?

What you're trying to do is to rotate power perpetually btw NW and SW being the population centres in the North and South respectively. This defeats the spirit behind power rotation in the first place.

Until such a time when electronic collation and transmission is put in place to know the real voting strength of each region power should go to the SE, then NE then NC
seunmsg:

Power shift is between north and south. The presidency has never been microzoned and will never be microzoned.

If the SE like, let them come out and contest against the rest of the south for the presidential tickets of the two major parties or continue to issue useless threads up and down. The rest of the south will contest and do everything possible to ensure power is shifted to the south in 2023.

Some of you are very poor student of history so it’s not really surprising seeing your very ignorant comments all over the place.

Below is the result of the 1999 PDP presidential primary election that produced Obasanjo as the party’s candidate:

OLUSEGUN OBASANJO (SOUTH WEST) 1,658 67.98%
ALEX EKWUEME (SOUTH EAST) 521 21.36%
DON ETIEBET (SOUTH SOUTH) 106 4.35%
GRAHAM DOUGLAS (SOUTH SOUTH)71 2.91%
JIM NWOBODO (SOUTH EAST) 59 2.42%
PHILIP ASIODU (SOUTH SOUTH) 12 0.49%
FRANCIS ELLAH (SOUTH SOUTH) 12 0.49%.

Dsalvo:

Lol. You are part of a tiny minority. How many Nigerians do you know who trust Igbos enough to give them ultimate power over their lives?

Some of you are the problem of Igbos. Rather than advise them to change their ways and work to gain the trust of Nigerians you'll be making stupid announcement about "equity" and "justice" decieving them over an impossible ambition.

The Devil too has never been President of Nigeria. Why don't we invite him from hell to be our President for equity and justice sake?

A people fight, insult, demean and castigate a their fellow citizens 23 hours every single damn day only to come at the last hour arrogantly demanding to lead those same people.

Are some of you for real? Who would vote an Igbo man President of Nigeria, against a candidate from any other ethnic group of Nigeria , other than Igbos alone?

How many votes did the SW give the PDP before they made Obasanjo their candidate in 1999? If we are even to go by votes received by parties from the different regions, the NE would be most favoured to produce the APC candidate

Is there any SE person with the Obasanjo like clout able to win the presidency without support of the SE? If you ponder that question you will start understanding the enormity of your problems and then realise your ipob and threats strategy has failed and mere digging deeper in the hole

You see my dear, what SE leaders are doing is what a wise son, who is dragging his father's property with outsiders, while his brother is fighting him. It's better South settle first before facing the north. But what Tinubu is doing is encouraging the north to fight harder. And at the end, South will be the loser.

You are contradicting yourself. Why are you afraid of contesting the party tickets against your southern brothers just like Obasanjo contested against a number of southern aspirants at the pdp primary elections?

Why are you afraid of competition in the south? Are you not the ones always shouting merit? Why are you now demanding quota?

It might be a legend or fiction, but it's the human foibles behind it that is on discussion.

You wont want to throw away what you deserve flippantly the way most of you say you will vote north than compete with SW for presidency.

It's a big indication you don't deserve the presidency and lack the temperance required for that position. Even north will never accept your trojan gift.
