For too long Nigerians have taken the North for granted. This is just one example, but not the only example.

It seems that only the North belongs to Nigeria, but everywhere else in Nigeria belongs to the "indigenes." People even have the nerve to call the North parasites on social media platforms and even "unity beggars."

This is a false perception held by most southerners. It is actually the North that is holding this nation together, if the south was left to its own devices it would be a war zone and fighting over resources.

In the SW during the time of "Operation Wet ẹ" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Wetie) southern politicians were literally lighting themselves on fire because of political office...

In the SE, after the war, Igbos in Port Harcourt stole the properties of their brothers who fled their homes (https://www.thenigerianvoice.com/news/76946/obasanjogowon-on-ojukwu-a-reminder-of-abandoned-property.html). Imagine...

Without the North to be a guiding light for this nation, there would be constant war either politically motivated or a scramble for resources. The oil that the south claims today was explored with profits made from ground nut, that came from the North. Moreover, if you understand how oil moves, it flows from North to south and settles in one place, but it didn't start in the place where it is found. The oil in the ND started off in the Middle Belt and flowed down to the delta, but Nigerians are not ready for this conversation, so I'll stop here.

Please be thoughtful in your words when speaking on the North, the North is the only reason this nation is still standing.

OK!

The oil in the Niger Delta did not start there but settled there. If you understand geology, you will know that oil starts out in one place and moves to another place where it is typically extracted. The oil that is currently in the Niger Delta started out in the Middle Belt and over time flowed down south.

Therefore, we cannot truly say any one person or people own oil, it is similar to air, or sea, it is something that simply cannot be attributed to just one area.

It is due to ignorance that those who live on the soil where it is extracted will be claiming ownership, we have seriously flawed thinking in this country.

Just shut up. Every time you northerners open your filthy mouths to speak, your stupidity, shallowness, and outright fraudulent nature comes to the fore. This is the reason even the religion the majority of you practice suffers a lack of trust worldwide.

Tell me, when will the proceeds of fulani cow sales, preferably to foreign lands and in dollars, find itself in CBN's coffers as national earnings?. When can we say the same for the foods you claim to produce?. You liars know the only reason you're still chanting Niijeriya is because of the resources in the south. And since the oil and gas originated from where you described as the middle belt, why don't you extract it from that location with the attendant environmental degradation?.

The only ignorant people I see in your empty narrative are you and your co-travelers. Granted the bulk of Abuja properties is owned by southerners. Was it given to them free or is it the result of their sweat?. What stopped northerners from building these structures?. And how do you define the north?. Are Gbagyi people also a part of your myopic demarcation?.

We all know that you know that we know the northern games. But be assured that this status quo will not subside until the end of time. The indigenous people are slowly are awakening.

The day Yoruba finally decided that even they can survive without this oil and join their southern brethren in questioning your audacity, we will definitely have a different outcome. Until then, and even if not, enjoy the oil, the others can get it done too when the time is right.

Are gbagyi people southerners? They are part of the northern tribes of Nigeria, you see them abuja and also in niger state

When you southerners see gbagyi people in the south wont you call them aboki.
Nope.
These same Gbagyi people who are supposedly northerners are never considered when FCT
ministerial and other related positions are being distributed.
Even when government agencies are doing land-grabs in Abuja to redistribute, these so-called Abokis are at
the receiving end while the authentic Abokis benefits.

I remember years ago when Agatu and Idoma migrating laborers were quite common were I lived.
No locals ever call them Aboki because they are not. Many can't even speak Hausa.

A lazy and ignorant person will lump unrelated groups together.
Others do it for political gains.
