I feel the army should focus on how to end these strike attacks by the terrorists.

They move in a convoy of trucks to attack villages and other targets. Normally, information gets to the army while they are on the move but nothing is done. This is a shame.

I am not a military expert but can't laser-guided missiles be sent to knock them out? Satellites should be able to track their movements and the missiles do the needful. Cutting down these convoy attacks should be the next aim of the government.

When terrorist attacks were becoming to frequent in Israel, Ariel Sharon built a wall around Israel which stopped the inflow of the bombers. Israel also had a problem with missile attacks from the Gaza strip. They built a very effective anti-missile system to intercept the missiles before they hit their targets.

The Nigerian army needs to put on its thinking cap and introduce measures that effectively combat each set of problems.

Anyway, winning an insurgency war such as this is never easy. The best that can be done is to subdue them. You can never absolutely defeat them.
