Leave my reading and comprehension alone and do the maths for me:

Total appointments = 11
North = 7
Other regions = 4

Maybe not 90% but what are we saying exactly?

Ararume hasn't been lucky in politics. I don't know why he was dropped. It's very unfortunate and I'm suspecting the hand of Gov Hope Uzodima in this drama.

2023 Imo Guber election politics loading.

But Ararume as next governor of Imo state could have development programme for Hope Uzodinma's federal constituency which Uzodinma grudgingly abandoned to rot.

If this country is incapable of running a state owned oil corporation as do Russia and the big players in the MidEast, they should scrap the damn thing or privatize it.

To this day, it beats me why privatization hasn't worked with NEPA, NNPC and other such state owned businesses as it did telecoms.

Something is definitely wrong somewhere.

Because gov’t still has a finger in the pie regarding electricity generation and distribution as well as NNPC! The unitary system of gov’t we presently operate is the cause!

what is wrong is that the privatization of NEPA and NNPC did not follow the same method as that of Telecom. What happened in the case of Telecom is not privatization but deregulation, licenses were sold to the private players to establish their own telecommunication systems there by expanding the industry NITEL was not sold to them, rather licences were sold to them. In the case of NEPA instead of government to sell licences to private players to build their own power systems from scratch, government sold part of NEPA to the private players this is what make the difference.

nnpc is not the only useless corporate organization owned by Nigeria or is it because it appointment is headed by a tribe you so much hate?
Buhari whom you worship ten times a day is the minister of petroleum.
How about the Nigeria airlines,nepa or what do they call it now, firs, and the rest.
The present situation have gone beyond sycophancy and double speaking.

Makes slot of sense.

Now, i suppose the fact that Dangote is building a private refinery means the field is open to private participation. This begs the question- why aren't these private players springing up everywhere yet? Is it that the conditions are too stringent or the financial requirements for establishing oil companies are just unattainable?

NNPC hadn't been privatised before now, so why wondering why it hadn't worked??

Nepa is a peculiar case because transmission is messed up, energy theft is massive, tariffs are not cost reflective etc.

Did it work with telecoms, where is NITEL? Who uses their infrastructure?

Telecom in Nigeria 21st century is new technology. NITEL should have been MTN of Nigeria dominating the sector.
