In keeping up with their mantra of saving lives and providing adequate health care services, the medical and health community development service group, Ife central local government area, has held a medical outreach for their host community.

The event which held on Thursday, 2nd of November, 2021 was conducted at the palace of the Ooni of Ife and had in the attendance, Mr Felix Ayibiowu, the Assistant Director, Community Development Service, Mr Johnson Adediran, Ife Zonal Inspector, Mr Wahid Ajayi, the local government inspector and Mr Adesan Olaniyi, NYSC CDS Branch.

The outreach was sponsored by the Ooni of ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Prof Esimai, Head Community Health Department, OAU, Prof V.A. Adetiloye, the CMD, OAUTHC, College of Health Sciences, OAU, Dr Bello, Medical Director, Iyiola Hospital, Prof Rufus Adedoyin, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, and Staff of Ojaja Clinic, Ile-Ife.

Adepoju Daniel Assure, the President of the CDS group, while speaking, revealed the essence of the outreach, that health care services must be accessed by all, enlightening them on the need to be health conscious with possible ways of preventing diseases and sicknesses.

In an interview session, one of the beneficiary expressed gratitude towards the team as she further pledged to comply to the neccessary health tips they had been intimated with for a better and disease-free life.

Other highlights of the outreach include, provision of first aid services, checking of vitals, doctor's assessment and diagnosis, lab analysis and drug issuance.
