FYI, January 1st new year day us based on the secular calendar and has nothing to do with Christianity. Christians also have their own new year day and it varies according to the Christian's sects.

(Dr) isaq, the Gregorian calendar is not a Christian calendar. Na wetin the wold adopt. The entire world operates by it for uniformity.why are you always trying to cause issues where none exists? In that case CAN should also call for the establishment of christian courts as the Muslims have sharia courts etc. The DSS in any country that works would have arrested this man for staring and attempting to instigate the public to violence.

. This man is a fool. The Gregorian calendar doesn't equate to a Christian calendar. Just that christians follow much of European practice. The true Christian calendar is supposed to be the Jewish calendar which is equally at variance with the Gregorian calendar, but christians still follow the Gregorian calendar. And the Gregorian calendar is the secular calendar being used the world over. It's not a Christian calendar, neither was it adapted to suit christians. Rather christians follow it in fixing their festivals.
