The Nigerian Society of Engineers needs to step in and put a stop to all these journeymen impersonating Engineers.

You’ll take ur generator to a roadside technician and meet him being addressed as an Engineer! You’ll step into a building site and meet the foreman who started as a helper addressing himself as an Engineer!!

This Nigerian mentality of giving big titles & nicknames to undeserving individuals is a major contributory factor in issues like this.

Probably, whoever supervised the construction of this building might have been one out of job brother who got the building supervisory role because of his dedication to church activities. With the church not knowing his Engineering title is just a nickname!
