Is President Buhari the Best President Ever in the History of Nigeria? If No, mention who is the Best President and his achievements in Office.

My Own Best President Ever: President Muhammadu Buhari

Achievements :

The presidency says Muhammadu Buhari is the first president to start and complete a rail project in Nigeria’s history.

Buhari administration has broken “giant-sized jinx” in many areas.

Net profit by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was a feat achieved under Buhari’s watch.

Completed Projects:

(1) Petroleum Industry Bill signed into law in 2021, after almost two decades in the works. It is aimed at reforming a Petroleum Act dating back to 1969, as well as other supplementary laws and regulations.

(2) Deep Offshore and Inland Basin (Production Sharing Contracts) Act, 2019, amended for the first time since 1993.

(3) More than 6 billion dollars of inherited Cash Call Arrears now being cleared by the Buhari Administration, since 2016. More than 3 billion dollars of the arrears (payments due to International Oil Companies) have since been paid.

(4) The Buhari Administration has overseen the first successful Marginal Fields Bid Round in almost 20 years.

(cool Nigeria Police Act, 2020: The first overhaul of the Police Act since it was originally enacted in 1943

(9) Nigeria Correctional Service Act, 2019 – overhauled the existing Prisons Act, almost 50 years after it was first enacted.

(12) Police Trust Fund Act, 2019: First-ever legislation dedicated to addressing the financing of the Police Force

(13) CAMA, 2020 – the first overhaul of the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) in 30 years.

FG COMPLETES 2,500 HOUSING UNITS IN 34 STATES

The Federal Government has completed 2,500 housing units in 34 states, the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has said.

Fashola, who disclosed this at the National Policy on Development summit in Abuja, also stated the government was currently working on 500 roads and bridges across the country.

He further noted that as part of efforts to bridge the infrastructure gap in Nigeria, the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing had intervened in the construction of internal roads in 44 tertiary institutions.

The minister spoke through his Minister of State for Works and Housing, Abubakar Aliyu, while delivering the keynote address at the NPoD summit.

Commenting on the housing deficit in Nigeria, the minister said, “The ministry is concerned about mitigating the deficit and ensuring that Nigerians wherever they reside have access to affordable, conducive and hygienic housing.

“The National Housing Programme is ongoing across the country with over 2,500 units completed in 34 states of the federation.”

Fashola further revealed that the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Housing Authority were increasing the housing stock for Nigerians through several programs such as rent to own and mortgage finance ownership.

The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, stressed the need for the National Orientation Agency to work assiduously to encourage Nigerians to patronize Nigeria-made products.

He noted that if Nigerian products were not patronized, the country’s revenue from crude oil would continue to create jobs and wealth for other nations because of the preference for foreign goods over locally produced products.

Speaking on behalf of the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, David Adejoh, stated that the Federal Government had been trying to prioritize and balance between the welfare of Nigerians and infrastructural needs of the country.

He, however, stated that funding had been a major challenge and assured participants at the program that the government would continue doing its best to meet the needs of Nigerians.

The worst was OBJ.
Obj na real bastard. He really bleeped up niger delta. He was the founding father of a democratic Nigeria but, he wrecked it. All he was interested was to steal money and enrich his people.

His state, Ogun state (cultism hq of the south west) is like a shit hole. No good roads amongst other amenities.

Talk about how he, the commanding officer of the armed forces, sent a cache of soldiers and gunships to murder civilians at ODI in bayelsa over oil.

The corruption he didn't check then has now turned into a wide show of shame.

There was also inflation during his time. Around 120% for the eight year he ruled. Well, buhari's own is like 250% plus and we still dey 7th year.

Las las, that kegite obj na bastard.

OBJ as first democratically elected President in '99 had the golden opportunity to establish this nation in all ramifications.. but failed unfortunately.
- No Power
- No infrastructure
- No optimal working refinery.

All infrastructure PMB is doing now should have been done in OBJ's tenure

All this one na story for the shallow minded

Best president ?

-Borrowed more than all previous government combined with little to show
-took Nigeria to back to back recession
- astronomical increase in the general price of goods and services
- the naira exchange rate to foreign currency is at an all-time high
-what about light no improvement
- fight against corruption ineffective
- insecurity has risen beyond control

And you open your mouth to say 'buhari is the best president"

Incase you don't know right from the time of balewa until this moment remains the worst president if you take a holistic look at things

You should be ashamed of yourself for deliberate glorification of incompetence. Buhari’s government epitomises failure whichever way you appraise it.

If the principle of rotational presidency means power should shift to the south, then power should also shift to a Christian.

Buhari has done 8 years for the Muslims.

In the spirit of fairness, it is time for a Southern Christian. Tinubu had this ambition to become Buhari's vice in 2015 but it was obvious the Muslim-Muslim ticket won't fly.

Now he wants to achieve that same ambition to the detriment of Christians. It is unfair and he must be stopped.

Christian Association of Nigeria will soon comment on this.

No past president competes with Buhari infrastructure-wise.
His Nepotism in dealing with Fulani Terrorists while Millions of Nigerians died under his watch makes him the worst president in the history of Nigeria.

I think that if you look at every administration, you will see a list of things they achieved and projects they achieved.

The question then is, if every administration has long list of achievements, why is Nigeria getting worse by the day?

Nigeria is today the third most terrorised country in the world, poverty capital of the globe and no 147 on the global corruption index

Since Buhari took office, the Naira has fallen, inflation has increased, insecurity has increased, poverty has widened, national debt has skyrocketed, Nigeria is more divided and the economy has nosedived

How many people can confidently say that Nigeria has become a better place since 2015 when Buhari took over?

Obj is better than Buhari in all aspects, be it infrastructures, the economy or security.....he is not the best but he is far better....I will take Obj 1 million times over Buhari.

Thank you.

ask them again ooh.
The so called infrastructure is not even more than 10percent of the total waste (corruption and incompetence).

Anyone that claims Buhari is the best president probably was a baby in 1999.
