House of Reps in Closed Session

The House of Representatives is now in a closed doors meeting.

Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila announced the executive session after more than fifteen minutes of arguments among some principal officers, members and the Speaker.

For about twenty minutes, plenary came to a standstill as the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Wase, House Leader, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, Katsina lawmaker, Sada Soli, Lagos members, James Faleke and Babajimi Benson argued in low tones.

Although, their conversation was not audible, it might not be unconnected to the resolve of the Speaker to reintroduce the bill and make amendments required by Mr. President

I see no usefulness of Nigeria house of Reps . There’s a lot of them and big waste of resources in a country where minimum wage is about $50 for a calendar month ! All they do is I support to all bills and motions.

There is NO legislature in Nigeria or Judiciary or Opposition. Buhari has stylishly eliminated all of them. What we have is barefaced dictatorship. We have to wait for another dispensation. Buhari is not the messiah.

What this simply mean is: owing to the fact that Tinubu commands plenty of loyal members of APC who might vote for him during the direct primary, Buhari and his cronies having seen this coming, quickly device this means of indirect primary as a model to kill Tinubu winning power of emerging APC presidential candidate. so far, during the indirect election primary, Buni and more haters of Tinubu will be elected during the convention as party delegates and they will be the one to select or choose who to be APC presidential candidate.

I think Tinubu needs to do his magic this time if he is actually the Jagaban

Wike! Na man you be, you have shown that once again, after threatened to sue Buhari if signed direct primaries into law and Buhari quickly rejected the signing and fingered the danger in direct primaries as Wike earlier voiced out and today both assemblies has removed it to allow political parties decides the formula to adopt as Wike earlier said, and now given rooms for the parties hierarchies to decide the options to follow.....Oga Wike u be man.
