RE- OPINION:


Well done for going this length on the backlash Emeka Ihedioha received or still receiving from, as you rightly put it, "sons of Sceva" in Hope Uzodinma's media team, for showing religious solidarity to a Muslim brother.

Honestly, MacDonald Njoku, I think you are not responsible for their own puerile assumptions on Emeka Ihedioha's faith. With this latest unfortunate gossip, it is obvious that jesters have taken over the governance of Imo State. Little wonder the state is without conspicuous direction.

No policy guidlines to economic and social development and growth. All we see and hear is propaganda from half-baked petty, malicious, mischievous, reprobate and debased elements masquerading as Hope Uzodinma's media men.

Imo State is worst for these sons of Sceva.

While the government of the state is struggling with legitimacy issue and acceptance from Imo people, they are busy doing media stunts of clownish proportion against Emeka Ihedioha or any body perceived opposition or enemy of Hope Uzodinma, instead of situating Hope Uzodinma's legitimacy issue within the perspective of public reconsideration through guiding the government in, if not yet empirical economic and social policy implementation for growth and development, then, academically, economic and social policy formulation to give Imo people a glimpse of hope that Hope should be reconsidered and given a chance to, at least, fail.

Their obsession with Emeka Ihedioha is disdainful and awfully a parameter to their jitters going into 2023 election. This fixation on Emeka Ihedioha by Hope Uzodinma and his media aides, playing opposition while being a ruling party, is so condescending and snacks of incompetence and mediocrity.

It is appalling that when Imo State is grappling with economic and social insecurity, all that the government of Hope Uzodinma can get busy with is talking about the religiosity and faith of an individual citizen, instead of conscientiously dealing with the circumstances of the state with administrative tact and people oriented policies.

His desperation for Imo government house, which now seems perverse, took him to that extent without first thinking of the implications or consequences. During the time of Okorocha both Ihedioha and his supporters were making jest of him for his friendship with the north. He was even called Okoroawusa and other names and Ihedioha never cautioned those doing that. He was accused of building a mosque at the government house. Today, because Ihedioha is desperate to have power, hobnobbing with the north or Muslim is no longer a taboo in Imo state. It's turn by turn and he should not cry. He should accept his fate.

MacDonald dear, indubitably, you always pelt limpid comprehension into minds whenever you write. And indisputably, you explicate things to utter pellucid comprehension. I would not want to be misconstrued or miscomprehended for adulation, but the patent fact is that, you are without any modicum of dubiety, an unbeatable distinct writer. An intelligent journalist devoid of any scintilla of fanaticism and bigotry. I applaud you for being a writer swaddled by every probity, rectitude and hyper honesty. Truth remains the unshakeable guideline of true journalism that can direct and redirect people, without getting them hoodwinked into believing things that are nebulous to sane existence. Thus, getting them hauled into believing in the phantasmogorical and chimerical promises of our anthropophagous politicians. You are one out of many. After reading this long Epistle, I could only spot a wanna be nationalist or a paid Vuvuzella Piper.

I have read many articles of yours where you threw banters at the Governor right? and that did make you an uninformed fellow?

I am very sure that you will write a longer Epistle if Uzodimma was in the shoe Ihedioha found himself presently....

Let's be truthful, straight and real always. It is for Ihedioha to defend himself and not you, Oga.
