The work smart not hard slogan has been around for a while now, but the truth is that you still need information to be able to work smart. Without that information you will still fall back to hard work in order to survive which has been my case.

While I had tried several stuffs online none has paid off yet. But after a recent public embarrassment from my landlord due to the rent I am owning him I had to shift my PC to a side and enter street. I promised to give him money for four months which amounted to 20k by Friday this week, so I had to look for the money somehow.

After hours of looking for a construction site I managed to find one where they were installing concrete stamping and started work as a server on a 2k daily pay. I was frugal with spending since I had a target so I ate just once a day, spending a total of 3h daily.

I got weaker by each passing day because I mix an average of 10 bags of cement each day.
I was on the 11th bag of cement on the 6th day when my vision got blurry and I blacked out, I slumped to the floor missing a tree stump by few inches.

I was resuscitated later and asked to go home, though I was given my full pay for the day. I think I am done with menial jobs.

I still have the 10k I saved last week and I have less than 3 days to find the remaining 10k to avoid being thrown out by the weekend. I have to fall back to smart work to find a solution though I don't have an idea of how I can raise the money within the short time frame.

Bet has crossed my mind but I'm not a gambler, I would rather manage the little I have than lose it in a bid to double it. I explored the option of loan apps, but with their neck breaking interest rates I'm pretty sure I'm going to default thereby compounding an already precarious situation

I looked around my room for something to sell, but for a vaguely furnished room, nothing stood out. My phone is another option but I doubt I can get more than 7k for a phone I've been using for 5 years that's on its last legs and threatening to pack up soon.

I would very much appreciate ideas on how I can raise the said amount within the stipulated period. I am in a really messy quagmire, if you have a task that I can do for you remotely to raise this money I would be indebted to you. I am very good with WordPress and some JavaScript frameworks and libraries. I can also write and do graphics to an extent.

Mods please help push to front page so I can get a much needed wider contributions.

First of all, I'm very sorry for what happened to you. It is unfortunate that you've been put in such a pickle of a situation with your health and all. I would really be against the idea of betting–it could be a quick fix for your situation but in as much so, it can just worsen it.

I suggest going through projects on Upwork–there are tons of Wordpress projects there for a quick buck. This could be just a bandage solution to your problem for now.

If you know a fair bit of SEO, a ton of startups or SAAS companies are looking for experts to help them grow.

Another quick fix might be a digital loaning service? There are a few out there that can loan you out a significant amount of money (just watch out for the payment terms tho, sometimes the interest can be crippling).

Hang in there bud, I hope things get better for you smiley
