At what point since history of mankind did this idea of cheating come up?

When a married man sleeps with another the only thing I see wrong there is the sin of adultery. He defiles his own body and that's something very serious.

I don't know where this idea of cheating on someone he literally acquired with his hard earned sweat comes from.

The two sexes,to me, are not equal.

If he didn't choose to marry her among all the options open to him and shoulders literally all the burdens of that union will she be talking about cheating?

There are many women out there who are fasting and praying for a husband but never gets. If it was in their power to marry they would've been married long ago without running from one church to another. Can they be talking about cheating?

A married man could actually go on to marry more wives if he chooses but kept only her yet some men have paid with their lives for sleeping with another woman. Murdered by the woman he chose to marry among the millions of women he could've chosen.

Do you know what it feels like to be vulnerable? To trust someone and then they end up betraying your trust?
Cheating comes in various ways not in relationship or marriage alone. It can be with a trusted friend, siblings, parents to name a few.

Nowadays, cheating just revolves around marriage especially. It's now something we normalized instead of fighting it.
Some generalized men has cheat but it work both ways.

Just like men were murdered for cheating so is women to, you can't just face one person and leave the other neglected. Some take cheating serious like their life depends on it while others just see it as nothing. We aren't cut from the same material.

I am not of the opinion of going extra miles to prove a point when you're been cheated on.

Murder is so extreme in proving a point. I see cheating as a hard lesson learnt for you to know your worth or how the other person perceive your trust.
