Hello , I got an admission to a school in Ontario Canada for a masters program , I would like to know if someone who doesn’t have the same name with me be my sponsor and I also have about 14m in my account. Please I need some advice on how to go about it. Thanks

Accurate advice cannot be given since you didn't reveal some key information about your tuition fee among others.

Hence, I will guess:
1. Living Expenses for a year $10,000 (Minimum required by IRCC)
2. Miscellaneous expenses $3000 (for flight and other expenses)
3. Tuition fee $20,000 assumed.
4. Program Duration: 1 year.

If the above assumptions are correct, then your total expenses is equal to $33,000 which is equivalent to NGN 11,000,000 ($1/#334 CBN rate).

This means if you have NGN 14,000,000 in your account, you have more than enough to run this program successfully.

You can present someone who doesn't share the same surname as yours to be your sponsor in so far you are able to establish past connection and relationship and can be proven beyond reasonable doubts

Bros thanks, you lifted my spirit small o. This time i prepared my application myself with the help of my sister who left for studies in canada last year and she got all her knowledge here(nairaland) too. Every document i submitted are more than genuine grin I hope in God it will end in praise.
I defered my admission and i just sent them the LOA yesterday.
God bless you bro. I will send an enquiry in your mail pls

I am very much interested in this your application especially since you have a record of MISREP.

The MISREP is not a negative sign.. Dont let fear control you.. As long as this time around, all documents are genuine, u have no problems.

All documents are being treated and processed with a closer eye cos of your history but PPR is sure.

Good day Nairalanders. How much in naira should be sufficient for POF for study permit covering the principal applicant, spouse and child please

Accurate advice cannot be made since you didn't provide some key information:

Sufficient Proof of Funds.
1. Tuition fee $20,000 assumed / year.
2. Living Expenses $10,000 for applicant and $4000 for the spouse and $3000 for each child. All per year
3. Miscellaneous Expenses: $6000 assumed. ($3000 is for applicant)

Good day everyone smiley I'm new on this thread and I need information about colleges in Canada that are good and inexpensive..... thanks

When you say "inexpensive" and "good", what are your definitions?

What level of education are you trying to pursue?

What is your current educational qualification and grade?

Schools in Canada are all good and regarded as having same standard.

Master degree tuition fee ranges from $9000 to $20,000+ per year depending on the course, province and admission policies. (1 year to 2 years)

PGD/PGC/PostBaccDip ranges from $11,000 to $20,000+ per year depending on the course, province and admission policies. (8 months to 2 years)

Undergraduate Level:
Certificate ranges between $7000 to $30,000+ (8 months to 1 year)
Diploma ranges between $9000 to $30,000+ (2 years)
Advance Diploma ranges from $9000 to $40,000+ (3 years)
Bachelor degree same as above (2 years to 4 years)

Kindly provide accurate information so as to have accurate advice. Information such as program level, course and grade are important in determining the accuracy of information/advice you will get here.

Also, note that the different tuition fees quoted above are not accurate but can give you a glimpse of what to expect.
