You did not know how they measured celestial objects and since you couldn't fathom how they did it you assumed they got external help..

They weren't 'gods'. They just assumed the role/identity of 'gods' to the pre-industrial humans of the time. They were just a technologically superior race of alien visitors.

The old testament is also replete with passages referencing ''pillars of cloud'', ''pillars of fire'', ''the glory of the lord came upon me'', ''lord of armies'' (spaceships?) etc etc. These are the descriptions we would expect from pre-industrial peasants who encountered the elements of a technologically advanced civilization.

I have read few of the comments.

First of all, Man (Male and Female) were created in the Image of God, in His Likeness, and not created by Annunakis or aliens or Enkis, etc.

The stories of Annunakis, and Aliens in books such as The Gods of Eden are books which have purposely been written to deceive man into believing that there are other gods apart from the Lord Jesus who is the only Potentate.

These books are from the pits of Hell.
Books on comparative religion, esoteric Christianity and any other that does not accept and portray Jesus as Saviour and Lord is false and the religion false.

God created Man in His Image, but before Man's creation, God created Angels.

Satan, one of the leaders of the angels, was prideful ( he still is) rebelled against God, and was thrown down to earth, together with a section of angels he patronized to accomplish his thwarted mission.

As you may be aware, he lives in the second heavens which is a spiritual state in the atmosphere, also some of his fallen angels lives under the sea, under the earth, on mountains and tress, and several other places withing our earth.

These aliens and annunakis are all demons and fallen angels which have an agenda to deceive humanity.
