INTRODUCTION


Bullying is an aggressive action or behaviour which is intentional, unwanted, and common among school children, the action is often repeated which could be verbal, relational, or physical.


Most of the times boys bully other children through physical means while girls bully other children through social brush off.
Bullying behaviours/actions include: removal of someone from a group intentionally, threats, spreading rumours about someone, attacks on someone intentionally, or physically


Apart from other contributors like parents have to contribute their quota in curbing bullying

The school workers generally, should watch out for bullying behaviours because it occurs in some areas in the school where supervision is either absent or limited.


Bullying occurs in the areas such as school buses, playgrounds, dining halls, bathrooms, crowded hallways, staircases, laboratories, through cell phones, etc. Teachers and all school workers should observe and pay attention to pupils and students in the places mentioned above.


Teachers should quickly intervene the moment he or she discovers among the students and the pupils in the classroom to put a stop to it.

The adverse effect of bullying can be detrimental . Awareness cannot be over emphasized and measures should be put in place by schools to make sure that offenders face the music
