Eons Intelligence:

A Floating Production, Storage & Offloading (FPSO) vessel has exploded & sunk at the Ukpokiti Tetminal, Escravos, Warri, Delta State. The 22,000 barrel PD vessel also has the capacity to inject up to 40,000 barrels of water PD & store 2 million barrels of oil.

The TRINITY SPIRIT was built in 1976. It comes with a 274774 Dead Weight & a length of 337.05m & a weight of 54.5m. Cause of accident is yet to be established.

Ewo and i work close to that escavors terminal , someone is surly going to get a root analysis here and might probably get sacked one thing about escavors is the "safety" they often preach about "do it right or not at all"

A 1976 vessel is still operating in 2022. Expired ship that ought to be sold as scrap.

Okay but wondering why no one is talking about the casualties or are we more interested in the economy than human life.
So sad that adequate safety measure was not in place to prevent such an accident. Shell is still number in terms of safety in Nigeria.

1976 machine operating in 2022 is a cofin, a disaster in waiting. That vessel should have been scrapped many years ago. I hope there are no casualties
