Food pyramid everywhere, yet the price of food is skyrocketing. Are they producing more foods than the United States, but we never heard of such pyramid in the USA? Instead of building the food pyramid in people's stomach, they are building it on a dry land. |

Bring back shehu shagari as president of Nigeria come 2023 prices commodities cannot go 50% down not the RULERS but the RULED are the cause of price surge. If you think am not getting it right what is difference in price of fuel at your nearest fuel or filling station compared to black market price nearest to your house. Do you know that in the rural communities the POS agents tend to bribe or lobby the Banks not to load cash in their ATM cash dispenser, are the RULERS responsible for this. |

Is this the latest fad now? Pyramids of foodstuff? What is the economic importance and what is the impact for the common man on the street? Will visuals of possibly audio pyramids translate to lower cost and higher standards of living? I do not understand the backwardness of this government honestly! The worst thing that can happen to a man is to lie to himself. That being said this government thrives so much in propaganda and lies and anything built on propaganda doesn't last. Many people don't know the rational behind the groundnut pyramids of old. In the 40s and early 50s there was a crash in the world price of groundnut much so that storehouses were filled with products that couldn't be exported by the colonialists and at that time Nigeria was a major producer of groundnut so to prevent the product from being destroyed because of inadequate storehouses. The colonialist had to bag and stack the ones coming from farms close to the train station in Kano and this was done in pyramid form overtime this became a spectacle. My point is that the colonialists had the pyramid at the time because there was so much excess because at that time supplybwas greater than demand, but in this era of APC government what is the rational behind the pyramids when there is a huge demand of rice or maize not being met? |

Until Political leaders from Northern Nigeria agree with the people of southern Nigeria to change the 1999 constitution and replace it with the 1963 constitution which specifically mean agreeing to true federalism and resource control. I do not take them serious. All these rice pyramid Buhari and his people are parrading in Abuja and this maize pyramid in KD that is Kaduna are just time and waste of effort. What is claiming Independence from southern resources when your people are still putting their long throat in crude oil in the Niger Delta region. If you want FINANCIAL FREEDOM seek for true financial freedom. The northern people of Nigeria that is the core north have not been sincere with their commitment towards joining with the south to move Nigeria forward. |
