I had my interview today.

Stage 1 - How to curb indiscriminate waste disposal in Lagos (discuss). 5 minutes

Stage 2
* Briefly tell us about yourself, including projects/activities you're currently engaged with that might be of interest to us.

* Tell us about a time you:
-received negative feedback
-worked in a team
-sought the opinion of others
-offered your opinion while working in a team
-used technology/computer software to solve a problem
-used a personal connection to achieve a goal or get something done
-made an assumption at work or elsewhere and the outcome
-faced an ethical issue at work and how you reacted

* How do you stay up to date with local/international news? Mention a few things you've read about recently.

* Briefly tell us why we should hire you.

Stage 3
Questions for us, if any.

When they give you a presentation topic, do they give you time to prep? Or you just start presenting immediately?

No time to prep. You start talking immediately!

Lol! You can buy a few seconds by asking them to repeat the question.

When is your interview slated for?

My presentation was ok
It’s the behavioral questions I have problems with, you’re expected to bring up scenarios that fit what they ask immediately, which would lead you to stammering as you’re trying to properly recollect. Some scenarios asked happen so often, you may feel the story you’re about to tell might be too basic, therefore panic changing.

Lol! I can relate.

What topic were you given?

Do you think there are others who're yet to be interviewed? The interview stage has spanned for over a month already.

So I did my interview today which I suppose is the last day for the interviews. Let me drop this here for posterity.

It started with tell me about yourself and then a 5 minutes presentation. My topic was on cyber security. I did ask for a minute so as to articulate my points before shooting.

Other questions that followed were.
- How do you stay updated to news? Tell us a recent global and international news

- Behavioral questions followed, of which most of them were based on my response. So it ended up more like a chat and they were really friendly.

My advice is to just be yourself and take away tension. Once you are not tensed, there’s tendency you would flow well

And just to add. I was asked what PwC’s purpose was and it’s values. I don’t think anyone on this thread had indicated being asked that question
My last question was- what location would you like to work from. Cheers guys!!!

Now I think I know why people have been silent after the OPQ. It does have a way of making you feel uncertain.

However, for those that hasnt taken the test, this is my take. Its best you infuse yourself with PwC's core values, let it be actually you because you wouldnt have time to keep thinking of the previous options you chose as the system would prompt you and as iSleek said, that could be another criteria... who knows.

Lest I forget. There are also times where you would have to choose between 3 options you chose as 'most like you' and also between 3 of the options you have previously indirectly indicated as 'least like you". So at some point, it feels like you contradict yourself, but I guess thats the way it was designed. Cheers!!!

Lastly I want to withdraw my first 2 lines here. I just feel majority of persons on this years thread loves to keep back information. Thanks to all those who shared regardless.

Since I have been following PWC recruitment, I have not seen NAIRALAND as dried like this

All those people who say time table was flying everywhere, kinky tell us when they say resumption will be (from it we might get a clue)

I tried asking the panel during my interview when they will get back to me regarding the outcome but they say they can't tell.

If this is right, then I think(my own view) that they will get back to us either of this days

27 July (being Wednesday) or
28 July or
29 July ( it will not exceed this day).

The view express here are my personal view. You may disagree (it's welcome as at times I disagree with myself).

Happy waiting

According to the calendar, on boarding day is 5th of September and PwC is fond of giving a month notice prior to resumption.

I think I'm the only one who's yet to see the calendar.

Did you cross-check the dates of the other activities (interview, test, etc.) with the ones in the calendar?

Yes, I did. All activities were done according to the proposed calendar.
