Gov. Wike either in 2020 or 2021 got approval from Council Legal Education to build a law school in Port Harcourt. The law school is 60% completed and sponsored by River State Government.

This senate approval has nothing to do with Port Harcourt law school. Gov. Wike did it on his own

Abi oh the states are too close sentiment is involved in the choosing of the campus , phortharcourt and yenogoa non in akwa ibom nor Benin city

I agree. Some of these campuses are unnecessary esp those that are 2-5 hours distance within each other.
Some are just created to Siphon funds and please some stakeholders.

Establishing more law schools is not useful at this time of economic downturn. The available ones can be expanded to accomodate more students coming out from universities home and abroad. Comparing Nigeria with rich nations (Canada and Australia) is not sensible.
