obinna5000:

@iice
Its "Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995)" wink

R.I.P. Leslie Nielsen (1926 - 2010)  cry He starred in The unclothed Gun series, Airplane!, Forbidden Planet, Wrongfully Accused, etc.

R.I.P. Irvin Kershner (1923 - 2010) He directed "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back", "Never Say Never Again" and "RoboCop 2".

James Franco and Anne Hathaway will be co-hosting the 83rd Academy Awards (Oscars) on February 27 2011.

I know the name. . .i just prefer to call it 'love never dies'. . .makes it seem more serious than it actually is undecided Kinda warped anyway

And i don't like the hosts they have chosen. I love Franco but i think hosting something like the oscars requires something more. . .

Ice Ice baby!! cheesy Thanks for posting the Golden Globe nominations. wink

So, "The Tourist" and "Burlesque" still got nominations despite the negative reviews.

The animated feature films category is a tough one.

Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by iice(f): 2:00pm On Dec 15, 2010
@Obinna, no problem ooo wink

Yeah i want Inception to pick up something.
I think though it may be the year of Colin Firth. There has been Oscar buzz about that King's speech movie.
True, tough for the animated category. Haven't seen Tangled or illusionist, but i'm thinking How to train your dragon (though it might be Toy story) just coz for once i want vikings to win something tongue

Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by kadman(m): 1:04am On Dec 16, 2010
Nicole Kidman is up for best actress !!! The woman is back ! Her movie hasn't even been released yet.

I'm torn between Annette Benning and Juliane Moore, both fine actresses and both very deserving. At least Hilary Swank is not there to steal it from Benning. But only one of them can be nominated at the Oscars as it's the same movie. Won't matter anyway as the Kidman would be up for that category too.

Can't wait to watch Black Swan. Dec 22.
Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by obinna5000(m): 7:07am On Dec 16, 2010
@kadman
Natalie Portman is also a strong contender.
Emma Stone's nomination came as a big surprise.
Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by iice(f): 2:12pm On Dec 16, 2010
I hope Portman takes it cheesy She's can be really inspiring to watch.

Darthmaul:

Let us know how Mad Men works for you. Thing is boring for me Sorry TOH grin
BTW, Michael C. Hall and his wife Jennifer Carpenter (who plays his sister Deb, on Dexter) just recently got separated abi divorced after 2years of marriage.
