He should have resigned voluntarily by now if Nigeria was a normal society. Everything Abba Kyari did, can't be done without having the authority from above. The way they treated the FBI's application for his extradition, the way they watered down the seriousness of the crime and even the police committee's recommendations showed that they were protective of Abba Kyari. He was still operating with his team even when the police authorities told the whole world that he was under suspension.

Do we thing he would have been arrested if NDLEA had not first made everything public? Remember that it was NDLEA that declared him wanted and then showed the Press the evidence they had on him.

I believe that Buba Marwa, who was known to be a tough military man when he was the Military Administrator of Lagos, decided not to go through official channels. If the NDLEA had gone through those channels, this would not have seen the light of day.

I believe that Abba Kyari does a lot of dirty jobs for many top politicians. They will protect him with everything they have because their secrets are with him. With the way things are going now, I won't be surprised if he suddenly dies of Covid-19.

It is enough ground. That's why this country is a laughing stock in the comity of nations.

A top police officer who was suspended for alleged involvement in crime and has been declared wanted by the FBI is seen prolicking around other police officers and still supposedly carrying out police duties until he was bursted by the NDLEA.

It is common sense that the IGP or other police officers shouldn't be seen with a suspended police officer who has been declared wanted until he clears his name. In saner climes, the IGP would have resigned.

So how do we trust the supposed police investigation of kyari if he is seen attending the IGP daughter 's wedding?

It is more than enough.
But according to your very low standards, it is not.
The standards for decency and ethical behavior keeps going lower and lower under this disastrous government.
In Canada recently, a serving provincial minister got suspended from office for calling the police chief after he got a traffic ticket.

Without standards of conduct by public officials, we might as well just be in a Zoo.

You are very very wrong.
He is facing a high criminal investigation.
The IGP should've known better that it is wrong to see him close to him no matter how close they are.
It has many implications.
They believe that this is Nigeria where serious things are not taken serious.

I nearly lost my job in my former place of work when our company cashier was robbed while going to bank for lodgement.
Our HR saw him coming out from my house after like a week while they were still investigating the robbery.
I was summoned by the company high executives for that.
This cashier has bn my good friend even before joining the company. We were friends for more than 8yrs b4 the issue. We were always seen together. So then I never believe that it means anything still keeping close public contact wt him while he was under investigation.

Do you believe that Police can arrest anyone found around or with a wanted armed robber?
If u believe this, then, that is the same thing Reno was trying to point out here.

Are you serious? It is more than enough grounds; it is just that we are a lawless, useless, myopic people that have no regard for public perception because even that is coloured by ethnic, religious and poverty-infested blindness!

A whole Police IG that does not know not to be found hobnobbing with an internationally indicted, suspended member of the Nigeria Police has no business being the IG! Besides when you say 'a whole Police IG', you create an impression of being untouchable and that is why impunity thrives unchecked just because a person occupies a certain office!

Is it not the same police that will arrest and detain family members/people when chasing an alleged criminal just because of unavoidably being family members/in the wrong place at a particular time? Yet you feel it's alright to have an indicted police officer to attend your intimate family occasion as IGP? It only means the IGP has used his powers to scuttle the so called ongoing investigation and Kyari is assured. Obviously, the 'suspended' Kyari was still running the IRT team as we see today and you say 'a whole IGP' should not be dismissed?

The crimes Abba Kyari is accused of happened under the watch of the IGP. While yet under supposed 'suspension' and investigation, he is seen freely mingling with the same IG and his family. It only tells us that the IG is aware of and approves of all the underhand, criminal dealings that have been revealed against Kyari.

And in all of these, all the police, still under the IG's watch is proposing is a mere demotion by just one level - from DCP to ACP. He should have been dishonourably dismissed or if only demotion then reduced to corporal or sergeant where he can hardly have any other officers at his disposal to call his 'boys'.

It is enough to call for the sack of the IGP. Tafa Balogun was harassed and disgraced out of office over institutionalised corruption in the office of the IGP. Nuhu Ribadu cannot claim he was unaware of those corruptions before Tafa Balogun became IGP.

Tafa Balogun suffered because he is a Yoruba. If Tafa were to be a Fulani or Hausa Obasanjo would have protected him.

Drug cartels are very deadly. It is highly organised and close circuited. The UNITED Nations spend billion of dollars to monitor drug cartels.

Obasanjo invited US Drug cartels Investigating officers to Nigeria to pick late Buruji Kashamu. US jet spent days in Nigeria to arrest Buruji Kashamu then a serving Senator. The National Assembly shielded him from arrest.

Nigerians are pretenders. When Abba Kyarri was in Lagos in charge of SARS many things happened. IGP allowing Kyari to function as head of IRT after the former PPRO announced a replacement for Abba Kyari means that the replacement was never allowed to function as head of IRT.

IGP has no reason why he should not resign or be sacked. If Abba Kyarri or the IGP were to be a Yoruba man heaven would have been let loose.

Kiari was suspended 6 mouth ago, and he still working under d IGP baba who giv him d permission to go and arrest that show that they all kwn wat is going on I listen to morning cross fire on a station in Lagos that is 90.9 and Tunde disu brack it down and z if any of d commitional of police needs something they will taz d Dpo under them and those one will come to comon Nigerian d okader man, d danfo driver and other young Nigerian that are on d road, that means kiari is giving him good return coz d kihari as b suspended 6 or 7 mouth ago and he till working as at january who gave him d permission?
