Nothing new. Whenever you go for work zero your mind that anything can happen. Most FPSOs are on their last legs and the country refuses to retire them. Someone must catch a lengthy prison sentence for this.

The companies involved can run scholarship programs aimed at giving future job positions to the men’s children. It is just eighteen to twenty-one years of education and the finances required will cost less than repairing one malfunctioning piece of machinery. Nobody holds these foreign companies accountable for lives lost. If this happened in developed nations many big men for chop sand. Non-Caucasians are worth less than household pets.

We can only imagine or do you have proofs, I mean afterlife hard evidence. If not, there's no point wasting one imagination...

So they have been operating this vessel since 2017 that it was reported to have issues. With all the money made in the they couldn't consider fixing it?
What a total disregard to life and environment..

Egina's FPSO is a masterpiece.

Bros don't go there nau.
You can't compare sleep and death nau.
Egina is new and well maintained. You know TUPNI doesn't joke with safety, their HSE standard is top notch.

Trinity is not even close to any of their JV assets, I mean the very old ones like Amenam,FSO Unity or Ofon not to talk of Akpo Fpso.

Once you compromise safety standards any thing wey you see na you sabi.

This is a poor and unintelligent report. Bad shape is not technical.

FPSO only 10 pax on board, that shows there is a rapid multi task among the personnel on board. Lack of maintenance, all what they do is production, production production under a very unsafe work environment. All this wanna be mushroom companies disturbing OML. Because of nepotism.

Imagine dying and finding out its real and you were not prepared for it and worse still you have no chance of coming back to make amends but you are now doomed to the wrong final destination forever. That prospect alone should scare you. Better to prepare and find out it isn't real which of cause it is than failing to prepare and going bust forever.

“There were complaints to the authorities about Trinity Spirit’s FPSO since April 2017,” the source said.
TheCable understands that in spite of the petitions, no concrete action was taken on the matter by the owners and the regulators.

That's the problem right there.
And someone should be prosecuted for this negligence but I trust nothing will happen because our laws are just too weak.

Oga you are inexperienced....which insurance money.

Do you know how much SEPCOL makes daily operating that FPSO on that OML 108?. There's so much money in exploration especially offshore field.

If this were true they'd pay their bills instead of being bankrupt.
