Russian reliance on China is beneficial to both. They both need each other to compete with the West. China doesn't do business with Russia the same way it does with other countries. Russia holds special status in China.

Russia is not planning to attack Ukraine. 150000 is not enough. To take Kiev alone. The 30,000 troops in Belarus will not be able to take Kiev. The 150000 troops may be able to take Donbas, but will not be able to fight there way up to the capital Kiev. The distance between Donbas and Kiev is huge.

Zelensky is confident that Russia has not made the decision yet. He has done the mathematics. Although, the West keep giving new date for invasion every week. But you and i know it's nothing but propaganda. Russia troops on the border is just a show of force and to send signal to Ukraine that Russia is willing protect the seperatists. Russia is comfortable leaving it's border with China not heavily guarded. What this means is that those troops will stay on Russo-Ukrainian border for a long period of time, if not permanently.
