it is not a doctored result but a reality. People should understand the difference between party primary and the real election. I participated in primaries not once. Election proper is full of strategies and financial spending . many or some of the people that voted in primary will shift their trust to other party . many will not come out on election day because of fear of humiliation . Civil servants collected membership form to look for gain in the service and so on.

And many who have party membership card to vote in primaries do not have PVC to vote in main election.
