Manchester United are ready to let Cristiano Ronaldo leave at the end of the season -- if he decides that he wants to.

The Sunday Express reveals that the club will not stand in his way even though he has another 12 months on his contract, with belief that his future may depend on whether or not they qualify for the Champions League.

The 37-year-old striker broke one of the longest goal droughts of his career in the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday, but despite being in fourth position in the Premier League, Ralf Rangnick's side are under pressure from Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

Ronaldo has scored nine goals in 21 league appearances this season.

They signed a selfish human being.

Most people who are that successful look after only themselves & interests majorly. They are very self-centred.

The next club he moves to will be the same stint. Would be stupid for any top club management to sign him except for business purposes and not the football itself.

Someone who unnecessarily behaves like a kid throwing tantrums whenever he gets substituted.

I’ve been a fan of CR7 since 2004
You can’t distinguish fact from hate ?
It’s a team sport not an individual one
At 37 he shouldn’t be getting so much playing time compared to the youngsters.
He doesn’t help defensively
He recently said the pace in England is already hitting him physically
37 years old does not feel the same as a 27 year old physically
Even Giggs that played till over 40 was coming off the bench sometimes giving way for youngsters to get playing time sometimes.
Well no one is complaint now since 1 of their players recently got banned from playing
Man U is now a mediocre squad anyway

He was close to joining city.
It was Ferguson that stepped in, stating that it would be sad to see one of their legends join their rival.
He would have fared well in city because of the quality of players there.
However he certainly would have clashed a couple of times with Pep.
That coach can take off any player at anytime. No nonsense approach
City has only one 9 now who they don’t regularly use
Lately I’ve seen midfielders play 9

He’s 37 and wants to achieve before he hangs his boots.
No time to build anything
He can move anywhere but I think Man Utd will block a move to City

Bro you not a Ronaldo fan anything. You're part of those that criticize him 24/7. Yeah Ronaldo is old....this is the more reason the younger ones should be doing the marking and the playing. When he was younger, he did it for the older ones too.
angry
Now is their time to carry him. As a young player he did it for Can nesterioy etc and for his former captain in Portugal. They should carry him now... It's that Simple.

Ronaldo will only start playing part time when he is 40 for now, he got records to break. Atleast he need to get 1000 goals before he retire and him playing part time won't help that to happen.
From now til he is 41 he will play at least 300 games and he has to have atleast 150 goals to make sure no one catches him.
If he can't get more ballon D or than Messi, he can certainly get more goals than Messi that Messi won't be able to catch up with.
