I'm actually in this situation now...I have a property I wanted to sell, buyers were coming with 12M. This place alone is N6 for just landed property. I have 6 flats on the land. The values of the place now is 20M.

I'm reasoning same before I came across this. I wanted 15M to 18M, though I have other properties that are not in Lagos. Please what you advise?

For clarity sake, cos of building a house is skyrocking everyday,If you sell that house today,you go need double or more amounts to build another one tomorrow. House is an investment that doesn't depreciate,im giving advice based on my experience cos I was once about to sell my house at a ridiculous price around 2020 when things were not moving well for me but I didn't later get a buyer,I later finished the house last year and rent it out around 400k last year,this year now,that apartment alone is 600k. Sir! You mean 6 flats and they're pricing it 12M? Too Low even at 20M that's if it's already finished and occupied. To build a standard 2bedroom bungalow would cost you 6m-8m depends on taste...I don't advice people selling property unless it's related to health issue. Try to finish it up with topnotch finishing,people go rush am...you might not make the money at once, but that feelings that you've something to relied on go dey give you hope of tomorrow.

Why not slash those things that are triggering your expenses to keep going up

If you insist, sell it, buy your own land and build your own house then use the rest and establish a business, so that if by tomorrow you want to pack out of your present abode, then you are moving to your own house
