Yes bubu has failed, but kidnapping is not a crime restricted to Nigeria

In the USA for example, one man kidnapped his children from his ex wife and killed them before he was arrested. There have been several cases of people being pushed in front of trains in the USA. A woman was stabbed in her home in New York. Another was held hostage in her own house in L.A. and so on.

It doesn't mean that we should praise Buhari or say that Nigeria is no betterthan the USA. It is just a reminder that crime exists whenever wherever. Even in prosperous Qatar a woman working for fifa was raped in her flat by someone ( not a qafari) who broke in.

All in all we can not stop crime but we can vote in leaders or put pressure on our leaders to improve funding for the police, funding for mental care, funding for things like records and cctv cameras on the street and so forth.
