Usually most visa free countries to the uk are for six months visit. He overstayed for 7 years and voluntarily went back home. He was not served any banned or given any restrictions on his passport, neither was his ´passport checked by immigratioins. After three years since he left the uk, he's planning again to come and visit his son who is now 4 years old. Do you think he would have any problem on point of entry into the uk or any E.U countries?

Not yet. Not that many nairalanders showed interest and we had to postpone the meet up due to different things that weekend (I went to Windsor and travelled to Turkey soon after).
