I am dumbfounded to say the least! A federal house of representatives is far better than a deputy governor in typical Nigeria politics where deputy governors are kept as unused spare tyres. This senator must have been fooled with the promise of governorship position may not see.

On a second thought, the governor may be digging his own grave as they may be working under ground to impeach him and have this senator turned deputy become the governor.

Its all part of the political process. If the candidate feels his right has been trampled, let him approach the courts.

Even after the governor defected to the APC thinking the ruling party would support his state in the fight against boko haram nicknamed bandits, has anything changed? The last time I checked, the situation was only getting worse. No party loyalty amongst our politicians. They are only loyal to their pockets.

And to you Nigerian youths who are ever ready to die for them, use your head in 2023. They do not like you. If they do, none of those politicians who had defected from the PDP to the APC and vice versa, would have done so in their various constituencies and states without first seeking your consent, the electorate. You are right but if you remember, zamfara was declared a no flight zone while the gov was still in the pdp, the action which he saw as Political witch-hunt. The moment he joined the apc, no more declaration of no flight zone. There was even a time his people said the apc would support them in fighting terror, if only he could defect to the apc, the ruling party were they could get support.
