most of your other third party maps rely on Google technology for Feeds, so don’t be surprised that even the contractor from the Russian military may have outsourced theirs to feed from Google’s.

It's now starting to make sense why China is developing alternative to western technologies and software. As late as 2020, China launched their own GPS satellites and developed their own navigation satellites.

Once the west disagrees with you, they just simply cut you off. But with a country like china , you don't have anything to cut them off from because they've developed their own alternatives.

Satellite navigation can be used by the Russians because they have theirs. But suggesting that a compass is an equivalent of a digital map with Satellite directions doesn't sound informed
