Its because Ukraine wants to allow US bases on its soil and that is a provocation thats unacceptable. Ukraine wont be attacked if it choses not to join NATO....
If your neighbour want to allow your enemy to use his house as a base to attack your house...its justified if you destroy your neighbours house and take it over so your enemy wont have a place to attack you from.

Why is Cuba under embargo for the past 60 years since it was Russia that wanted to plant a missile there?
Why not place embargo on Russia since its russia it doesnt want close to it.

Geoffrey Onyeama must know that Nigerians are enlightened and well informed on the causes of Russian-Ukrainian war.

And in this war, the Russians are very justified both morally and legally to use force to prevent NATO's entry into Ukraine. No sensible man would allow his enemy plant missiles in his backyard.

Over the last 20 years, NATO had actively been looking for trouble, by expanding its military infrastructure closer and closer to Russia, in defiance of the agreement that NATO wouldn't extend beyond the Elbe river.

NATO entrance into eastern Europe and deliberate actions to undermine Russia's security, is an evil act. The US didn't tolerate Russia's missile in Cuba; why then does NATO think the Russians would accept NATO's missile in its backyard.

Onyeama must keep his ignorance aside and shut up. Enlightened Nigerians support Russia. Although we regret that the Ukrainians had been unwise.

Nigeria must not take sides. Onyeama, don't mislead us.
