If the US and NATO had equipped Ukraine with all these weapons before the invasion,Russian bodies would have been recorded in the thousands. But it's understandable that they didn't want to provoke the Russians or make Ukraine confrontational.But now everyone is regretting not giving Ukraine the ANTI-TANK missiles,defence systems and aircraft they requested right from the days of that buffoon Trump. Since NATO has vowed not to intervene militarily directly,the one way to now help Ukraine to still hold on to their country and stop the massive civilian casualties I feel is for NATO to indirectly encourage and finance mercenaries and other volunteers with military training in large numbers. South Africa for eg used to have mercenaries called 'Executive Outcomes'.If groups like that still exist,third party talks could take place to find out if they would be ready to go into combat against the Russians to stop their genocidal track. Groups like that could give Ukraine a real boost and make the conflict not just further difficult but real painful to the Russians in terms of numbers of casualties. Imagine having a mercenary group with modern gear and radar jamming tools having that Russian convoy just sitting there waiting for the taking. 1 Like |

Putin underestimated the west especially US and UK in this war.. putin made a public show in 2014 after the annexation of Crimea that he can overrun ukrain in one week, that's how he underrated ukrain but he met more than he envisaged.
