| Russia already said they will turn off gas export to Europe if USA bans their oil. Meanwhile, USA exports 30% of its oil to Asia while Russia exports 40% to Europe while the rest goes to Asia. If USA bans Russian oil, they will have to be the ones to fill in fir Europe since Venezuela and Saudi Arabia have refused to drill more. Which means the 30% of oil that USA sends to Asia will now be diverted to Europe leaving Asia with no other choice but to go to Russia for oil Meanwhile the biggest loses here will be Europe. They receive cheap gas from Russia through pipelines. USA's LNG costs 3x higher than that of Russia. Which means they will pay USA x5 to get the same amount of barrel they get from Russia for almost free of charge, while Asia will now pay x5 less since they will now be getting the cheaper gas from Russia. either way, Russia will keep selling their gas.
