The NEC meeting of the APC is set for next week Thursday as lots of defining decisions will be taken. It's going to be virtual and the president is expected to join from the UK.

The removal of Buni and the secretary is expected to be ratified by the NEC amongst several other decisive decisions.

I think Seunmsg already answered your question. Oyetola resigned to concentrate on his re-election and governance issues in his state. He's not Buni that neglected his job.

Buni has not been removed officially. He traveled out of the country and Gov. Bello stepped in as Acting Chairman. NEC approval is not needed to assume an office in acting capacity.

How can Buni and co connive with some interest within the party to surreptitiously obtain an order from the court to ambush the APC convention. Elrufai said it was not known to the party until last week. This was an order dated November last year. In his words,he said the lawyers of Buni went to agree with the lawyers of the plaintiffs in court that the exparte order be granted. They had to go dig it out from the court achives when an insider brought it to their notice because it was supposed to be served on the party a few days to convention.

This gang want the convention and presidential primary to hold same day. I'm suspecting Uzor kalu and his co-travellers.

I am more interested in why our SW brethren are not represented at this meeting
