Yes, it's alarming because that's the ancient town of ikorodu. They still want to retain their cultural and traditional values. And that's the only places in ikorodu you'll see a lot of brown roofs.

You better come and buy property in this location when it's still at affordable price now.

E no show any civilization. It simply means that the people live in abject penury. No rich man would have an old house and not rehabilitate it..unless he has abandoned the house.

Like someone pointed out, the number of old houses in that area is worrisome. Nigeria is not lifting people out of poverty. Instead, the government is making people poorer.
