If one post something that is obvious like poverty in Yoruba land or the fact that Yoruba leaders have continued to suppress the people by lack of good and basic governance, the average Yoruba man who is suffering the anomaly will get so much agitated and apprehensive. and will be fiercely doing anything it will take to cover The said anomaly
The fact that Yoruba leaders have continued to fail in their responsibilities to extend dividends of democracy outside the various southwest state capitals should be a thing of concern to all..
I have lived in Yoruba land for 35yrs, even though am not Yoruba but the decades I ve spent living here should bequeath me some right to discuss things happening in Yoruba land

It's a cultural flaw.
It's part of the reason why I would like them to be alone and run their own country based on their entrenched obaship system.
What you see there is the end product of a monarchical system. People riased under ruthless monarchies where the monarchs are deified as semi gods, seldom question authorities. They have been browbeaten over time to swallow line hook and sinker, whatever the guys on top drops at them.

So when you see them get offended with you for either questioning Nigerian leaders or criticizing those in power, they're just extending their tribal reactions/obeisance to those in authority all the way to the national level. Chinua Achebe alluded to this in his book "There was a country", but instead of having a serious appraisal of their total cultural make up, they lambasted him to no end.
The most saddening part is that they seem very afraid to make corrections..

Do you why igbos are running away from their land in millions? Nothing works there, governance, justice, management, education. It a barren land with old people lying to little kids about the past, the little kids grow up to hate their neighbours.

The culture of hate, vices and bigotry that ruin their land is what they want to start in South West, they want to turn south west to where there is no order and peace

We must resist infringement on our culture and space by this land invaders from Kongo jungle enough is enough

I wish Yoruba can have igbo mentality and Fulani brutality but we have many sellout and saboteurs. You will see bode and deji asslicking igbos ass, you will see tunde and Femi asslicking Fulani

I'm a Yoruba boy with hardened Yoruba spirit and bend to no one except my God and of course I respect the crown and I find hostile igbos and Fulani in Yoruba land a red flag, someone like you is a threat to us

They Igbo's you are referring to are those that cannot stand the competition in the east so the seek for soft spots/virgin land.

What we bring to other regions is the spirit of competition.

There's nothing good about the Fulani and Igbo traits stop coveting it. Any Igbo or Fulani that stays in Yoruba Land for more than 35yrs will be Yorubanized....that's how strong the culture is.

They are too untamed to be Yorubanized, especially igbos, their blood is strong in saboTUAH, you will see them always abusing our kings, food, culture and women, there is no way they can be integrated, they will one day open backdoor for others to harm us

It is called inferiority complex.
Sadly, I do not see anything to which a Yoruba should be insecure about himself or herself.
