Just recently a friend of mine attended a wedding of a 42 year old Nigerian man who got married to a 45 year old single mother of 6. The man has no kids of his own.


It made my stomach churn when I heard the story. So many old Nigerian men are still stupidly ignorant. (Granted, the man in question is a pastor, so foolishness is his favorite brand of reality)


I am glad a lot of young Nigerian men are waking up. We have not inherited the folly of the men before us. Most of us won't even talk to a single mom not to speak of dating or marriage. Best quote: Single moms are for recreation

I understand those scenario, but we shouldn't generalise our theory and overlook those cases too. Either cases too they prioritised their children over the husband, which is a win-loss to the man.
You can marry them for charitable cause, at least.
