But she was suppose to carry along the husband family quote author=Kobojunkiee post=111060596] The woman was married to the man at the time of his death, so there is technically nothing wrong with what she did. undecided

Being in charge of the bills does not give one legal guardianship so the in-laws are wrong in assuming they should have been consulted on the matter. So the in-laws should probably work on accepting their loss and moving on from this. undecided[/quote]

Oh so he was one too, well there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

Which leaves me to wonder, does the surgery team not go over this with the patient prior to surgery? There’s a place for the patient to sign before they go to surgery stating if they would like blood or not. And in case the need arises, they already know what to do based on the patient’s decision

Wonder why the sensational headline.
As a witness, he has already made the decision when 100% healthy prior to any emergency.
Secondly, unless he was wheeled in unconscious, he has papers to sign after declaring his faith before preping for surgery.

If he declares no blood transfusion, ethical team will come and perform their duty. At least its official. Any other thing that happens don't concern the medical personnel though some medications will be changed while new ones introduced if the person survives. They always do.
Very stubborn people.

But she was suppose to carry along the husband family quote
Make I quote someone else for you to help you see this. undecided

Yes, a wife can take any decision for her sick husband if the latter is incapacitated, and vice versa. Unless he strictly instructed against that.

Unfortunately, this particular decision was a dumb religious one. I don't care whether someone is religious or not, but when a religion causes death, it still confirms the menace of religion.

Guy that brought this matter up is not doing well at all, in the sense that there is No update from police station.

Am sure by now you suppose to tell us what your lawyer told you if you have a case.

If not that this thing happened in Lagos, am sure u will be among those that will humiliate the woman.

ur headline is misleading, and based on the analysis by those who know how things work in LUTH it shows that u cooked half story for the whole populace based on your sentiment for that religion. I Will have to tell u that everything u wrote was based on your emotion and not fact.

Base on this i have to demand u change the headline.

U and moderator should respect religion of others.

Lol. The issue with death is not the experience itself, it's the fact that the afterlife has remained a mystery, whether good or bad nobody knows

What life can be more badder (worse) than this?
What death can be more sorrowful than the one we shall go through?

In death we see pang, in pangs, pants down we see life, a new life, such is the reality of life and death that stare at us each day.

Will we not live the market place (here) for home?

On our way, we need die, and on reaching home, what type of Joy do we meet, is it joy of sorrow or joy of greatness?

Is the market place the same as home?
