Militarily, Russia might be a match for the west, but when it comes to economic warfare like sanctions, Russia stands no chance. There are many sanctions that can still be applied, but you might be mindful of how it affects the ordinary innocent people in Russia.

I hope you know that the foreign companies leaving Russia because of these sanctions employed millions of Russian citizens, and as they go, so also their Russian workers become jobless. This is not the intention of those that place the sanctions.
