It is also wrong to start counting the number of people who have wielded EXECUTIVE POWER IN NIGERIA only from 1999!
Was Nigeria’s Independence attained just in 1999? What about the military rulership?….were people like SHAGARI, IBB, GOWON, MURTALA MUHAMMED, BUHARI & ABUBAKAR not all from the North wielding Executive Powers regardless of the dress they parade themselves in? Tell me why Igbos who are expected to be one of the major tribes in Nigeria (debatable though) are even scared to contest with Yorubas not to talk of the North??
