Lagosians are enjoying the ATM. If Tinubu and other leaders did not provide the enabling environment for business to thrive, Microsoft won’t invest in Lagos.

Lagos state Pre-1999 was better organized, detribalized and more equitable than it is now. Like every other facet of the nation, lagos has rapidly deteriorated and become decadent
Why should Lagos be detribalized when Enugu,Kano or Rivers are not detribalized? Do you prioritize your neighbour’s children before your own children?

The leaders and politicians are a reflection of the society. They did not fall from heaven.A narcissistic and criminally minded society breeds criminal as leaders.

This is another reason why Nigeria is and remains the Number 1 TECH country in Africa.

$100 Million investments

Massive TECH jobs and opportunities for our youths

God Bless Nigeria..

Who have you been listening to?

There's a country called South Africa.

That country is miles ahead of Nigeria in tech.

What attracts some big tech players in Nigeria is the population (market) and the interests Nigerian developers have shown over the decades.

However, that doesn't make Nigeria #1.

Inconvenience associated with movement, cost of rent for the supposedly teeming youth this place will attract, cos of living generally etc would HV made other cities a better choice...

Bros don't be naive tell me how the ordinary lagosian is enjoying the ATM? microsoft rented a building for their africa development centre. Also what is the proportion of the local populace that are into computer programming or coding? The biggest lie you are making is that Tinubu provided an enabling environment for their business to thrive when we know how multiple taxation is strangling businesses in Africa. Look my brother Microsoft created this to be close to guys in tech startups they want to strategically position themselves not that Lagos did anything fantastic for them. If you see the same facility they have in Kenya you will see that there is nothing fantastic here it was just a strategic move to be close to tech startups. They want to whittle down Andela's influence on tech startups.

@the bolded, you are saying nonsense. Why can’t they invest in Kano if it’s just population that influence investment? Lagos is attractive for FDI because it has the Human Resources to drive those things and because it is investment friendly with a relatively peaceful environment.

Lagos has by far the highest number of tech startups in Africa so why shouldn’t Microsoft invest there?

About Asiwaju, if ya’ll can blame any bad thing about Lagos on him then why can’t we credit him for every good things??

Bros stop being dense Lagos is a business hub for startups a microsoft has seen the impact Andela and the likes have on the tech startups that is why they strategically rented this office in Lagos iy has no impact on Asiwaju.
Also has always hosted businesses and company when you had other governors before Asiwaju. Let us stop twisting history to launder his image.

The slavery in Lagos has moved the state to the third largest economy in Africa. It is also why Microsoft will rather invest in Lagos instead of Enugu or Akwa.

Bro Lagos econony is shrinking if you don't know the latest 2021 ranking put Dakar ahead of Lagos for FDI

CPI of Nigeria is falling everyday and you are saying Nigeria avvgieved much this week. Oga have a conscience and stop image laundering for these guys you are suffering and rather than be honest with yourself, because of crumbs you get you will launder their image to deceive people, you are not different from the local that kidnapped people and sold them during slave trade.

Will you shut up?

When you people attempted to burn Lagos down with your phantom #EndSARS, was Tinubu not the first name on your lips?

Suddenly, when positives come into Lagos as has been the case since 1999, you forget Tinubu being the Architect.

You have to choose one.

Abeg getat.

Talking about private investment, isn't that what you guys have been clamouring for years?

You say government had no business in business, yet when private enterprise invest, you still wish to lambast government.

See, if you don't like Lagos, relocate to your homestead.
