The Presidency has condemned the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for its latest attack on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

The PDP claimed in a statement on Sunday that the election of Abdullahi Adamu, the former governor of Nasarawa State, as the APC's national chairman would deepen corruption and economic hardship in the country.
The "imposition of Senator Abdullahi Adamu, a man who was arraigned in Court on 149 counts of alleged fraudulent award of contracts and stealing of public funds estimated at N15 billion, as its National Chairman," according to a statement by the PDP's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, was proof that the APC cannot fight corruption.
